In a big administrative decision in Rajasthan, the newly elected Bhajanlal Sharma government has given additional charge of some important posts to 3 IAS officers, a day after swearing-in as CM of the state.
1998 batch IAS officer T Ravikanth has been appointed as the principal secretary of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. He was posted as principal secretary (medical education).
While, Ms. Anandhi, a 2007 batch IAS officer, has been given the charge of secretary to the chief minister. She is posted as IT and communication secretary.
2017 batch IAS officer Dr. Saumya Jha has been temporarily appointed as joint secretary to the chief minister. He is serving as CEO of Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Development Council.
The orders were issued by the state department of personnel.
All three officers will continue to hold their current positions along with the additional charge, the order from the state department stated.
