In a bureaucratic reshuffle in Delhi, the Arvind Kejriwal led state government has issued orders for the transfer and posting of as many as 5 IAS officers. The government has also given additional charge to one IAS officer and relived one IAS officer.
This decision of reshuffle will be leading to changes in the Deputy Commissioner/DM positions across four districts.
2010 batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, Mr Arun Mishra has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Headquarters. He was Deputy Commissioner/DM, North East.
2011 batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, Ms Isha Khosla who was Deputy Commissioner/DM, South East, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner/DM, New Delhi.
Mr Vikram Singh Malik, an IAS officer of 2012 batch and Special Secretary, Home, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner/DM, North East.
Mr G Sudhakar, an IAS officer of 2012 batch and awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner/DM, Central.
Mr Santosh Kumar Rai, also an IAS officer of 2012 batch and Deputy Commissioner/DM, New Delhi has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner/DM, South East.
While 2014 batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, Mr Awanish Kumar who currently holds the position of Deputy Commissioner/DM in the Central district, relieved from the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD). He has been directed to report to the Lakshadweep Administration, as per the transfer order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on December 21.
1996 batch IAS officer Ashish Kundra has been additionally entrusted with the role of Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor. He will succeed Chandra Bhushan Kumar (IAS:1995:AGMUT) in this capacity.
Mr Kundra was serving as the Principal Secretary-cum- Commissioner for Transport with an additional charge of the Principal Secretary for Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC),
It is worth noting that Chandra Bhushan Kumar, the former incumbent, was relieved from his position a couple of days ago (on 16 January). He has taken on a new assignment as the Additional Secretary and Mission Director for the Jal Jeevan Mission within the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
