Following an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, IPS officer of 1994 batch, Mr. Binod Kumar Singh, was repatriated to his parent cadre, Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Singh is presently posted as the Additional Director General (ADG) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and his repatriation to parent cadre has sparked curiosity about what type of new role he shall occupy during his stint with the Uttar Pradesh Police.
