Two IPS officers, Sanjay Kumar Agrawal and Hemant Priyadarshy, from the 1992 batch, have been promoted to the rank of Director General (DG) in Rajasthan.
Mr. Agrawal was serving as the Additional Director General (ADG) of Intelligence, while Mr. Priyadarshy, formerly acting as the DG of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), has been reassigned following RP Meharda’s appointment as the full-time DG. Mr Priyadarshy is now the ADG of the State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) and Cyber Crime.
With these changes, the Rajasthan cadre now includes eight DG-level officers, six of whom are serving within the state. These include DGP UR Sahoo, DG of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Nina Singh, DG of the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPRD) Rajeev Kumar Sharma, DG ACB RP Meharda, DG of Training and Community Policing Janga Srinivas Rao, and DG of Home Guards Rajesh Nirwan.
