The Gujarat government has recently promoted three IPS officers to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP). The officers are currently serving on Central Deputation.
The officers who have promoted are:
IPS Atul Karwal, 1988-batch, is currently serving at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Police Academy, Hyderabad.
IPS Praveen Sinha, 1988-batch, currently posted in CBI, New Delhi.
IPS Vivek Srivastava, 1989-batch, is currently serving at IB, New Delhi.
