After incumbent Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar’s retirement, many top officials have been reshuffled in the Bihar’s administration. 1985 batch IAS officer Arun Kumar Singh succeeded Deepak Kumar as the new Chief Secretary of Bihar.
Amir Subhani who was serving as the Additional Chief Secretary in the home department has now been transferred to the vigilance department. He will also hold the charge of state principal secretary and development commissioner.
Prem Singh Meena has been posted as the secretary in the finance department, while Dinesh Sehra will now hold the charge of the secretary in the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe welfare department.
Sanjeev Hans has also been given the additional charge of secretary in the water resource department. Hans is also holding the charge of secretary in the tourism department.
Lastly, Ravi Manubhai Parmar has been made the principal secretary in the minor water resource department. He has also been given the charge of secretary in the art, culture and youth department.
