The IAS Association officials met with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence, urging him to take appropriate legal action following an incident of alleged “misbehavior” with Senior Secretary Meenakshi Sundaram in the Secretariat on Wednesday. The association requested that measures be taken in line with established rules, according to an official statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
During the meeting, the IAS Association emphasized the need for a secure and respectful working environment within the government. They urged CM Dhami to prioritize the safety of both field officers and Secretariat employees to ensure a safe and supportive work atmosphere.
In response, Chief Minister Dhami assured the association that the demands presented would be given due consideration. He encouraged officials to perform their duties effectively and per regulations, highlighting the importance of serving the public interest.
