In a minor reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh State government has transferred five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The order, issued by Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad, marks a few significant changes across various departments.
2006 batch IAS officer D Ronald Ross, who was awaiting posting, has now been appointed as Secretary of the Finance Department.
IAS officer B Anil Kumar, also previously without a posting, has been assigned the role of Managing Director of Swachh Andhra Corporation, taking over from Gandham Chandrudu, an IAS officer of 2010 batch. Mr Chandrudu has been transferred to the position of Additional Secretary in the Labour, Factories, Boilers, and Insurance Medical Services Department.
2018 batch IAS officer D Haritha, another officer who was awaiting assignment, has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department.
In another important move, 2006 batch IAS officer K Kanna Babu, currently serving as Secretary of the Social Welfare Department, has been given the additional charge of Secretary for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, relieving G Anantha Ramu of this responsibility.
This reshuffle is expected to bring a fresh approach to the various departments, especially in key sectors like finance, urban development, and agriculture.
