Anil Awarup is a 1981-batch IAS officer of UP Cadre who retired almost ten years ago. But, he remains busier than when he was in service. He writes books, newspaper articles, addresses conferences, runs a voluntary organisation called, Nexus of Good and likes to interact with students and young executives to motivate them to excel.
