Taskeen Khan does not just have a beautiful face. She has a beautiful heart, too. In her UPSC interview, she was asked how she would react to a person coming to her begging, on the streets.
Without a thought, she replied: “My immediate response when I see any beggar on street is to help him or her. However, the monetary support or any other help which I give them may not change their condition altogether, it’s a temporary solution. So, to find a solution, our government and all other socially-spirited people have to work together. We need to provide them with better care. Delhi government has already come out with shelter homes, such models should be replicated everywhere.”
So, this is Taskeen Khan for you. Not just a conventional beauty with brains, but, also, a compassionate and empathetic person, who cannot see anyone in pain and distress.
