Gujarat government led by Mr. Vijay Rupani issued a transfer order of 5 IAS officers on 5 September 2020. The list includes district collectors of Ahmedabad, Patan and Banaskantha-Palanpur.

In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, Gujarat government led by Mr. Vijay Rupani has transferred five IAS officers. The list includes District Collectors of Ahmedabad, Patan and Banaskantha-Palanpur.
2005-batch IAS officer, Mr. K K Nirala, who was serving as the district collector of Ahmedabad, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Secretary to Government, Home Department (Law & Order), Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar.
Mr. Anand Babulal Patel, an IAS officer of 2010-batch who was posted as the district collector of Patan, has been given a new posting as the Collector, Banaskantha-Palanpur replacing IAS officer Mr. Sandip Janardanpant Sagale.
Whereas, Mr. Sagale who is a 2007-batch IAS officer, has been transferred as the Collector of Ahmedabad replacing Mr. K K Nirala.
2008-batch IAS officer, Mr. Supreet Singh Gulati who was serving as Director, Employment & Training, Gandhinagar has been posted as the district collector of Patan.
Lastly, Mr. Alok Kumar Pandey who was on return from inter-cadre deputation has been appointed as the Director, Employment & Training, Gandhinagar replacing Mr. Supreet Singh Gulati.
