Bihar: 8 IAS Officers Transferred, K. Senthil Kumar Made Secretary, Home Department

Abhay Kumar Singh, a 2004 batch IAS officer, has also been given the additional charge of Managing Director, Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam Limited.

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Bihar, Nitish Kumar led state government has transferred and posted 8 IAS officers. 1996 batch IAS officer K. Senthil Kumar has been made the Secretary, Home Department of Bihar. Till now he was the secretary of the health department.

Abhay Kumar Singh, a 2004 batch IAS officer, has also been given the additional charge of Managing Director, Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam Limited. He is already in charge of the Managing Director of COMFED Patna in addition to the Secretary, Tourism Department.

Prabhakar, a 2007 batch IAS officer, has been given the responsibility of Special Secretary, Bihar State Planning Council, Patna. He was earlier holding the charge of Managing Director of North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited besides Managing Director of Bihar State Transmission Company Limited.

Shirshat Kapil Ashok, a 2011 batch IAS officer, has been given the additional charge of Managing Director, Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited. Title Kapil is in additional charge of Additional Secretary, Home Department, besides Inspector General of Prisons and Correctional Services, Bihar.

2011 batch batch IAS officer Mithilesh Mishra has been made the director of mid-day meals. He was also in additional charge of the Managing Director of the Bihar State Education Finance Corporation Limited and the Chief General Manager of the Bihar Development Mission Cabinet Secretariat Department, besides Additional Secretary, Finance Department.

Anand Sharma, an IAS officer of 2013 batch, has been given the additional charge of Additional Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department. He was posted as Director, Panchayati Raj.

Aditya Prakash, a 2014 batch IAS officer, has been made the Managing Director of North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, Patna. He has also been given the additional charge of Managing Director of Bihar State Transmission Company Limited, Patna. Aditya Prakash was till now Additional Secretary Rural Development Department.

Vivek Ranjan Maitreya, a 2017 batch IAS officer, has also been given the responsibility of Joint Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department. He is the Director of Handloom and Silk Bihar.
