Central Govt. Appointed Senior IAS Officers to Different Ministries

The Central Government appointed number of senior IAS officers to the post of Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Corporate Affairs and MoEF&CC.

The Central Government on Tuesday appointed number of senior IAS officers to the post of Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Corporate Affairs and MoEF&CC. Their names and appointments are given below.

1992 batch IAS officer Pankaj Agrawal (MP) was on Tuesday (18.01.2022) appointed as Additional Secretary and Director General (Acquisition), Ministry of Defence in place of V. L. Kantha Rao (IAS:1992:MP) upon his appointment as Additional Secretary, Department of Telecommunications. Presently, Agrawal is serving as Additional Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat.

1994 batch senior IAS officer Santosh Kumar Sarangi (OR) was on Tuesday (18.01.2022) appointed as Director General, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, he is serving as Additional Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.

1994 batch IAS officer Ms. Anuradha Thakur (HP) was on Tuesday (18.01.2022) appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Presently, she is serving as Additional Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat.

1994 batch IAS officer Naresh Pal Gangwar (RJ) was on Tuesday (18.01.2022) appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC) in place of Ms. B V Umadevi (IFoS:1987:CG) upon her appointment as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs. Presently, Gangwar is serving as Joint Secretary, MoEF&CC.

V L Kantha Rao (IAS:1992:MP) was on Tuesday (18.01.2022) appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Telecommunications in place of Han Ranjan Rao, (IAS:1994:MP) upon his appointment as Administrator, Universal Service Obligation Fund. Presently, Rao is serving as Additional Secretary and Director General (Acquisition), Ministry of Defence.

Senior IAS officer Han Ranjan Rao (IAS:1994:MP) was on Tuesday (18.01.2022) appointed as Administrator, Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF), Department of Telecommunications. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, he is serving as Additional Secretary, Department of Telecommunications.

Senior bureaucrat Ashish Srivastava (IAS:1992:MP) was on Tuesday (18.01.2022) appointed as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Presently, he is serving as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development.

Senior bureaucrat Shashank Goel (IAS:1990:TG) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Presently, he is serving in the cadre state Telangana as Chief Electoral Officer.

Shailesh Kumar Singh (IAS:1991:JH) was on Tuesday appointed as Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Presently, he is posted in the cadre state Jharkhand as Additional Chief Secretary cum Principal Secretary to Governor, Raj Bhavan.
