New Delhi: The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO), a Navratna infrastructure financing company under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has reported significant operational growth in FY2025–26, cementing its role as a key driver of India’s urban infrastructure and development initiatives in alignment with Viksit Bharat 2047.
Key Operational Highlights
HUDCO’s performance during FY25–26 reflects strong growth across its core operational metrics:
- Loan Sanctions: ₹1,64,757 crore, marking a 28.76% increase from ₹1,27,952 crore in FY24–25.
- Disbursements: ₹51,194 crore, a 27.87% growth compared to ₹40,037 crore in the previous fiscal year.
These figures highlight HUDCO’s proactive market engagement and strategic initiatives to accelerate infrastructure development across urban India.

Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman and Managing Director of HUDCO, attributed the strong performance to forward-looking organizational reforms and continuous monitoring of market trends. To further strengthen urban infrastructure financing, HUDCO recently launched the Urban Investment Window (UiWIN), a dedicated facilitation mechanism to channel capital efficiently into urban-sector projects.
The initiative aims to:

- Promote knowledge sharing and equitable urban development
- Support projects aligned with national urban policy objectives
