The state government has transferred seven officers of the Indian Administrative Service. Kartikeya Goel of 2010 batch has been discharged from the post of Managing Director of CGMSC. In his place, Abhijit Singh of 2012 batch has been made the new Managing Director. He will have the additional responsibility of Joint Secretary, Home Department.
According to the order issued by the General Administration Department, 2005 batch S. Prakash has got the additional responsibility of Secretary, Department of Village Industries and Department of Parliamentary Affairs. He already has the responsibility of the Secretary of the Transport Department. Till now, IAS Kartikeya Goel, Managing Director of CGMSC and Joint Secretary of Health Department, has been removed from there and made Panchayat Director.
Abhijit Singh, Managing Director of Raipur Smart City, Chief Executive Officer of Raipur Development Authority and Joint Secretary in Home Department, has been made Managing Director of CGMSC. Abhijeet of 2012 batch will continue to hold the responsibility of Joint Secretary of Home Department.
Chandrakant Verma of 2017 batch has been made the Chief Executive Officer of Raipur Development Authority (RDA). Till now, Mr. Verma was handling the responsibility of Additional Managing Director of Raipur Smart City.
The government has increased the stature of IAS Mayank Chaturvedi of 2017 batch. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Raipur Zilla Panchayat. Now he has been made the Managing Director of Smart City Raipur with the responsibility of District Panchayat.
Government has posted Devesh Kumar Dhruv of 2018 batch to the post of Chief Executive Officer of Narayanpur District Panchayat. Till now he was handling the responsibility of Sub-Divisional Officer (SDM) of Bijapur.
Poshan Lal Chandrakar, who was the Chief Executive Officer of Narayanpur District Panchayat, has been called to the ministry. At present, he has been kept in the waiting list for the post of Joint Secretary.
