2013 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, Mr Mahendra Kumar Meena, has been appointed as Private Secretary to Ms. Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for Commerce & Industry for a period of five years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (07.06.2023), the competent authority has approved the proposal to appoint Mr. Meena to the post for a period of five years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or co-terminus basis with the Minister, or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
