The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has extended the central deputation tenure of IAS officer Mr. Amandeep Garg. He has been given the extension for period of one year and will be posted as Joint Secretary of Cabinet Secretariat till September 10, 2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Mr. Garg is a 1999 batch IAS officer from the Himachal Pradesh cadre and it is the second time an extension has been given to him by the central government.
