2015 Batch IAS Officer VR Krishna Teja has been transferred and posted as District Collector of Kerala’s Thrissur. He took charge as new Collector from the outgoing DC IAS Haritha V. Kumaron on 22nd March, 2023. He was currently serving as Alappuzha Collector.
Mr. Teja hails from Guntur of Andhra Pradesh. He is a computer science engineer. After completing his schooling in Chilakaluripeta which is a city in Guntur (AP), Mylavarapu got graduated as an engineer from Narasarao Peta College of Engineering in the year 2009.
“I will do my best for the people of Thrissur,” he said after taking charge. He had served as Assistant Collector in Thrissur before. He had also served as KTDC Managing Director and Tourism Department Director.
