In a bureaucratic reshuffle in Rajasthan, the Ashok Gehlot led state government has transferred and posted 3 IAS and 2 IPS officers, including the Jaipur police commissioner.
The department of personnel issued the transfer orders late Monday night.
2003 batch IAS officer and Bikaner Divisional Commissioner, Mr Bhanu Prakash Yeturu is transferred to Jaipur to the post of secretary, home department in place of V Saravan Kumar, an IAS officer of 2006 batch, who has been made commissioner of departmental inquiry.
Mr. Bhanu Prakash was appointed as Divisional Commissioner of Bikaner only two weeks ago, when then Divisional Commissioner Dr. Niraj Kumar Pawan, an IAS officer of 2013 batch, was transferred. But after two weeks, Mr. Prakash has been transferred again.
2006 batch IAS officer Urmila Rajoria will be the new Bikaner Divisional Commissioner. She was MD Rajasthan State Cooperative Federation Ltd (Rajfed).
Meghraj Singh Ratnu, a 2010 batch IAS officer and Registrar-cooperative department, has been given the additional charge of MD Rajfed.
At the same time, in another order, the Rajasthan government has also transferred 336 officers of the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS). Under this, many block, subdivision officers and district level officers have been changed.
