Tamil Nadu: 50 IAS Transferred, IAS K Phanindra Reddy Posted As Addl Chief Secretary, Home, Prohibition and Excise Department

50 IAS officers have been transferred throughout the state by the Tamil Nadu government. The name of officers has given below-

1. Shri K Phanindra Reddy, IAS (Tamil Nadu 1990), is currently working as Additional Chief Secretary/Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Prohibition and Excise Department.
2. Shri SK Prabakar IAS (Tamil Nadu 1989), currently Additional Chief Secretary, Home Prohibition and Excise Department, transferred as Additional Chief Secretary/Commissioner, Revenue Administration
3. Shri Md Nasimuddin IAS (Tamil Nadu 1989), who was previously Additional Chief Secretary, Labour Welfare and Skills Development Department, has been shifted as Additional Secretary of Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department.
4. Currently serving as Director of Rehabilitation and Welfare of Non-Resident Tamils, Smt. Jacintha Lazarus IAS (Manipur 2005) has been promoted to Commissioner, Welfare of the Differently Abled.
5. Smt. J. Vijayan Rani IAS (Tamil Nadu 2013), who is currently Chennai’s Collector for the Tamil Nadu government, has been promoted to Director of Sericulture.
6. Currently serving as Principal Secretary for the Health and Family Welfare Department in Chennai, Shri J Radhakrishnan IAS (Tamil Nadu 1992) has been transferred as Principal Secretary for the Co-operation, Food, and Consumer Protection Department.
7. Currently serving as MD of Chennai Metro Rail Limited and transferring to the Highways and Minor Ports Department is Shri Pradeep Yadav, IAS (Tamil Nadu 1992).
8. Smt Mariam Pallavi Baldev, an IAS who graduated from Tamil Nadu in 2008, was promoted as Additional Secretary of the Department of Industries.
9. The current joint managing director of T.N. Civil Supplies Corpn Ltd in Chennai, Smt. M. S. Sangeetha IAS (Tamil Nadu 2016), was promoted to joint commissioner (administration), commercial taxes.
10. Currently serving as Principal Secretary/Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Shri Dheeraj Kumar IAS (Tamil Nadu 1993) was previously the Principal Secretary/Commissioner, Government, HW and MP department, Chennai.
11. Principal Secretary/Officer on Special Duty, Health and Family Welfare Department, Chennai, Dr. P Senthilkumar IAS (Tamil Nadu 1992), transferred as Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare
12. Dr. R. Anandakumar IAS (Tamil Nadu 2005), who is now Member Secretary of SDAT, was promoted as Secretary of the Department for the Welfare of People with Disabilities.
13. Dr. Darez Ahamed IAS, a Tamil Nadu native who is currently the National Health Mission’s Mission Director, shifted as the Commissioner of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.
14. Currently serving as Commissioner, Prohibition & Excise, Chennai, Shri J Jayakanthan IAS (Tamil Nadu 2005) was promoted as Commissioner, Geology and Mining.
15. Currently serving as Director of Geology & Mining in Chennai, Shri L Nirmalraj IAS (Tamil Nadu 2005) has been promoted as Commissioner of Transportation.
16. Smt. Pinky Jowel, IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2003), has been appointed as Commissioner, Department of Economics & Statistics. She is currently serving on inter-cadere deputation.
17. Currently Commissioner of the Treasury and Accounts Department in Chennai, Shri T N Venkatesh (Tamil Nadu, IAS, 2006) has been promoted as Special Secretary of the Transport Department.
18. Currently serving as Commissioner for the Treasury & Accounts department in Chennai, Smt. R Seethalakshmi IAS (Tamil Nadu 2006) has been promoted to Special Secretary for the Transport department.
19. Currently on vacation, Dr. J. U. Chandrakala IAS (Tamil Nadu 2006) has been named director of the Tamilnadu Entrepreneurship Development Innovation Institute.
20. Smt. K Santhi IAS (Tamil Nadu 2015), who is currently Director of Sericulture in Chennai, was promoted to Collector in the Tamilnadu town of Dharmapuri.
21. Currently serving as Collector for the Tenkasi District, Shri S Gopala Sundara Raj IAS (Tamil Nadu 2009) was promoted to joint commissioner for commercial taxes in Chennai’s major taxpayers section.
22. Currently the Collector in Tiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu IAS candidate Shri S Sivarasu was promoted to Joint Commissioner, Commercial Taxes.
23. Currently serving as Commissioner, Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities Welfare Department, Chennai, Shri M Mathivanan IAS (Tamil Nadu 2006) has been promoted as Commissioner, Prohibition and Excise.
24. On inter-cadere deputation, Shri K Vijayendra Pandian IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2008) has been appointed commissioner, treasury and accounts, Tamil Nadu.
25. Shri R Lalvena IAS (Tamil Nadu 2001), who is currently the Secretary to the Government for the Welfare of Differently Abled in Chennai, has been promoted as Commissioner for Food Safety in Tamil Nadu.
26. Currently serving as Joint Secretary for the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department in Chennai, Shri A John Louis IAS (Tamil Nadu 2011) has been promoted to Joint Commissioner for Revenue Administration and Disaster Management.
27. Currently serving as Director of Museums in Chennai, Shri S A Raman IAS (Tamil Nadu 2010) has been promoted to Director of Disaster Management in the office of the Commissioner of Revenue Administration.
28. The Secretary of the Tamilnadu State Election Commission, Shri K Vivekanandan IAS (Tamil Nadu 2006), is currently the Managing Director of TAHDCO in Chennai.
29. Currently on leave, Shri G Prakash IAS (Tamil Nadu 2000) has been appointed commissioner of archives and historical research in Tamil Nadu.
30. Currently Commissioner of Economics & Statistics in Chennai, Shri M Karunakaran IAS (Tamil Nadu 2006) has been promoted as Special Secretary of the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.
31. Currently Director of RD & PR in Chennai, Shri Praveen P Nair IAS (Tamil Nadu 2010) was promoted as Director of e-Government in Tamil Nadu.

48. Power Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited has transferred Shri S Vijayaraj Kumar IAS (Tamil Nadu 2005) to the position of CMD.
