The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has carried out yet another reshuffle in the bureaucracy ahead of the upcoming civic polls. Six Indian Administrative Service officers of the special secretary level have been transferred.
This is the third time in the past three days that IAS or IPS officers have been transferred within the state.
Mr Shiv Sahay Awasthi, a 2011 batch IAS officer who was posted as Special Secretary Sugarcane and Sugar Industry, has been made Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) Branch Lucknow. While 2010 batch IAS officer, Atal Rai, who was posted as Additional Commissioner Industries in Kanpur, has been made Special Secretary, Food and Logistics.
A 2010 batch IAS officer, Ram Yagya Mishra, who was serving as Managing Director of UP Small Scale Industries Corporation, has been posted as Special Secretary, Medical Education.
2012 batch IAS Officer Rakesh Kumar Mishra, Special Secretary Housing and Urban Planning, has been sent to the post of Special Secretary, Excise.

IAS Divya Prakash Giri was posted as Staff Officer to Chief Secretary, while IAS Samyukta Samaddar was appointed as Commissioner of the National Capital Region (NCR), and IAS Anand Kumar was made Member (Judicial) of Council of Revenue.
