In an official statement issued by the administration, IPS officer, Mr. Dhruva Kant Thakur from Uttar Pradesh cadre of 1994 batch, has been transferred and posted as the Commissioner of Police in Lucknow Police Commissionerate, Uttar Pradesh. He has replaced IPS Sujit Pandey.
The order of his transfer was issued late night. Prior to this, he was the Additional Director General (ADG) of Police Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS)
