In a minor reshuffle, the state government has ordered transfer of few IAS officers. According to the order issued by Chief Secretary V Irai Anbu, K Phanindra Reddy will hold full charge of natural resources department. He is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary to govt. taking charge of transport department.
Besides him A Shanmuga Sundaram has been posted as commissioner of Transport in place of A Nirmalraj. While Nirmalraj has been posted as Director of Geology and Mining. Mr. J Jayakanthan has been posted as commissioner of Social welfare and women empowerment. Where D Rathna has been posted as Director, Prohibition & excise.
K J Praveen Kumar has been posted as Commissioner, Madurai Corp. while Simranjeet Singh Kahlon has been given the charge of Executive Director, Chennai Metrowater. S. Balachander has been posted as commissioner of Salem corp.
