2 IAS Officers of Chhattisgarh Given New Posting in Centre, Amit Agrawal is New CEO, UIDAI

The Union Ministry of Personnel has issued an order shifting two IAS officers of Chhattisgarh to new roles.

IAS officer Amit Agrawal has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Unique Identification Authority of India. A 1993-batch officer, Mr. Agrawal is presently Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. He will take charge of the new role in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.

Subodh Kumar Singh of 1997 batch has been appointed as Director General, National Testing Agency, Ministry of Education, in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily upgrading the post. He is currently serving as Additional Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
