In a major administrative move, the Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand government has promoted 114 officers of the Jharkhand Administrative Service, offering a significant career boost to state service personnel. The Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Official Language has issued a formal notification in this regard.
The promotions come following the recommendations made during the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting held on April 23. The promoted officers include those serving at the Block Development Officer (BDO) and Circle Officer (CO) levels, who have now been elevated to the rank of Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO).
