13 IFS Officers Transferred in J&K, Key Positions Realigned, Sarvesh Rai Made Director, Forest Protection Force

Tawheed Ahmad Deva (AGMUT:2009), CF Srinagar Circle, also holding the role of Regional Wildlife Warden, Kashmir, has been officially designated as CF/Regional Wildlife Warden, Kashmir, and will retain charge of CF Srinagar Circle.

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday announced a major administrative reshuffle in the Forest Department, transferring and assigning new responsibilities to several Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers.

The changes, which take effect immediately, are aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing departmental efficiency across various divisions.

According to an official order, the following transfers and postings have been made

Sarvesh Rai (AGMUT:1991), Chief Wildlife Warden, J&K, has been assigned the additional charge of Director, Forest Protection Force, J&K.

T. Rabi Kumar (AGMUT:1995), CEO, CAMPA, J&K, already holding charge of CCF (Planning and Projects), will also take on additional charge of CCF, Working Plan, Research & Training.

Sandeep Kujur (AGMUT:1995), Director, Forest Protection Force, has been transferred as Director, Social Forestry, J&K, and will also hold additional charge of Director, Soil & Water Conservation, J&K.

Chaturbhuja Behera (AGMUT:1996), Managing Director, JKFDCL, will now serve as Director, JKFRI.

Suneesh Buxy (AGMUT:1998), Director, Social Forestry, and holding additional charge of Soil & Water Conservation, is appointed Managing Director, JKFDCL.

Riddhi Jagadh Vasudev (AGMUT:2001), CCF, Working Plan, Research & Training, has been moved as CCF Eco-tourism, relieving Sarvesh Rai of the additional charge.

Dr. K. Anandh (AGMUT:2004), CCF/Nodal Officer FCA, has been posted as CCF Central in the office of PCCF/HoFF and will additionally hold charge of CF Vigilance, while continuing with his current FCA responsibilities.

Dr. Syed Nadeem Hussain (AGMUT:2009), Regional Director, Social Forestry, Jammu, will now serve as Conservator of Forests, South Circle, Kashmir.

Dr. Arashdeep Singh (AGMUT:2012), previously Conservator of Forests, South Circle, is now posted as Conservator of Forests, Chenab Circle.

Navneet Singh (AGMUT:2016), DFO Udhampur Forest Division, has been appointed Regional Director, DEERS, Jammu.

Suresh Manda (AGMUT:2016), DFO Jammu Forest Division, will take over as Chief General Manager, JKFDCL (P&P).

Anurag Arya (AGMUT:2021), DFO Kamraj Forest Division, has been posted as DFO Jammu Forest Division.

The comprehensive reshuffle underscores the administration’s focus on revitalizing forest governance, ecological management, and conservation efforts across Jammu and Kashmir.
