Patna: The Nitish Kumar led Bihar government has issued fresh posting orders for two IAS officers, marking a minor yet significant administrative reshuffle.
According to the official notification, IAS Officer Krishna Kumar has been appointed as the Joint Secretary in the Road Construction Department. His new role places him in a key position to contribute to Bihar’s ongoing infrastructure development and road connectivity initiatives, which remain a priority for the state government.
In another notable move, Mrs Ananya Singh, a 2020 batch IAS officer transferred from the West Bengal cadre to the Bihar cadre, has been appointed as the Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-CEO of the District Council, Aurangabad. Her appointment comes as part of routine cadre adjustments and adds a new dynamic to the developmental leadership in the Aurangabad district.
These postings are part of the state’s efforts to strengthen administrative efficiency and bolster developmental work across departments and districts.
