New Delhi: The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has approved the promotion of two Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers from the AGMUT cadre currently serving in the Union Territories of Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir.
According to the official orders, Sajjad Hussain Mufti, a 2008-batch IFS officer serving as Conservator of Forests (CF) in Ladakh, has been promoted to the Selection Grade (Level 13) in the pay matrix.
In a separate order, T Rabi Kumar, presently serving as Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (APCCF) in Jammu & Kashmir, has been promoted to the rank of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), Level 16, with immediate effect.
These promotions reflect the ongoing administrative updates and recognition of service contributions in the Union Territories’ forest and environmental governance frameworks.
