In a recent administrative reshuffle within the Border Security Force (BSF), three Indian Police Service (IPS) officers have been assigned new responsibilities.

Mr. S.S. Yadav, a 1997-batch IPS officer, who recently joined the BSF after his abrupt removal from the post of Director General of Police in Chandigarh, has now been posted to the Command Headquarters of the Anti-Naxal Operations in Chhattisgarh.
Mr. Ashok Kumar, a 2006-batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IPS officer, who is currently serving at the BSF Force Headquarters (FHQ) in New Delhi, has been appointed as Inspector General (Training) at the BSF FHQ, New Delhi.
Mr. Jal Singh Meena, a 2010-batch Tripura cadre IPS officer currently posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) at BSF FHQ, has been assigned the post of DIG (Confidential), BSF.
These changes come as part of routine postings within the BSF to streamline operations and enhance leadership in critical functional areas.
