Raipur: The Vishnu Deo Sai-led Chhattisgarh government continues its sweeping administrative reshuffle under the banner of Sushasan Tihar. Following the transfer of 41 IAS officers on April 19 and 20 IPS officers on April 20, the state has now shifted its focus to the Indian Forest Service (IFS). On April 28, the government issued fresh orders transferring 35 IFS officers across various forest divisions and departments.
Among the key changes:
- 2007 batch IFS officer Alok Kumar Tiwari, previously Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Khairagarh, has been posted as Deputy Forest Conservator at the office of the Principal Chief Forest Conservator (PCCF), Aranya Bhawan, Naya Raipur.
- Vivekanand Jha, DFO Balrampur, has also been posted to the PCCF office in Naya Raipur.
- Priyanka Pandey, formerly posted in Janjgir Forest Division, has been transferred to the PCCF office as well.
- 2013 batch IFS officer Pranay Mishra moves from Deputy Forest Conservator at Aranya Bhawan to Joint Secretary, Forest and Climate Change Department, Chhattisgarh Government.
- Ramesh Kumar Jangde has been relieved from South Kondagaon Forest Division and posted to the Chhattisgarh State Small Forests Cooperative Union.
Several DFO-level reshuffles were also made across forest divisions:
- 2014 batch IFS officer Pankaj Rajput has been transferred from Mahasamund to Khairagarh.
- Prabhakar Khalko moves from Korea (Baikunthpur) to Surguja (Ambikapur) as In-charge Forest Conservator, Action Plan Forest Division.
- Arvind P.M. has been reassigned from Korba to Raigarh as DFO.
- Mayank Pandey, earlier Joint Secretary in the Forest and Climate Change Ministry, has been posted as DFO, Mahasamund.
- Jitendra Kumar Upadhyay has been shifted from Jashpur to Dharamjaygarh Forest Division.
