The General Administration Department of Gujarat has assigned additional responsibilities to four IAS officers, effective immediately.
Mr. Ajay Prakash (2010-batch IAS officer), currently serving as the Director of the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA), has been given additional charge as the Managing Director of Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd, Mehsana, replacing Mr. Arun Mahesh Babu, who has been transferred. Mr. Prakash has also been assigned additional charge as the Managing Director of Gujarat Power Corporation Ltd, relieving Mr. Arun Mahesh Babu of this responsibility as well.
Mr. Sujal Jayantibhai Mayatra (2011-batch IAS officer), serving as Additional Rural Development Commissioner at the Commissionerate of Rural Development, has been given additional charge as the Managing Director of Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Ltd, replacing Mr. Manish Kumar, who has been transferred.
Mr. B M Prajapati (2014-batch IAS officer), also serving as Additional Rural Development Commissioner at the Commissionerate of Rural Development, will now hold additional charge as the Managing Director of Gujarat State Rural Development Corporation Ltd, relieving Mr. Manish Kumar of that responsibility.
These appointments aim to ensure continuity in administrative leadership across key state enterprises.
