Recently, four IAS officers of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre (2008 batch) were empanelled for holding the post of joint secretaries or equivalent ranks at the Centre.
The IAS officers are:
- Mr. Vinod Seshan;
- Mr. Ram Singh;
- Ms. Pooja Pandey;
- Dr. Joram Beda.
Apart from these officers, 60 others (all from the 2008 batch of the Indian Administrative Service) have been empanelled for holding the post of joint secretaries or equivalent ranks at the Centre.
