5 IAS Officers Transferred in Punjab, Vishesh Sarangal Made Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority

The Punjab government on February 27, 2025, issued transfer and posting orders for five IAS officers. The details of their new assignments are as follows:

  • Mr. Vishesh Sarangal, a 2013-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer, serving as Deputy Commissioner, Moga, has been transferred and posted as Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority, SAS Nagar, under the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
  • Mr. Sandeep Kumar, a 2015-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer, serving as Additional Registrar (Administration), Cooperative Societies, has been transferred and appointed as Chief Administrator, Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority, Greater Ludhiana.
  • Mr. Abhijeet Kaplish, a 2015-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer, serving as Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib, has been given additional charge as Director, Mines and Geology.
  • Mr. Sagar Setia, a 2017-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer, serving as Additional Secretary, Higher Education & Languages, has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Moga.
  • Ms. Ojasvi, a 2020-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer, serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Faridkot, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Administrator, Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority, Greater Ludhiana, under the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

These transfers are part of the Punjab government’s administrative restructuring to enhance governance efficiency.
