The ‘Grain for Grain’ initiative, a collaborative effort between the Wildlife Trust of India and the Pakke Tiger Reserve Foundation, has successfully distributed 69 quintals of rice to local communities impacted by crop raiding by wild elephants.

The Wildlife Trust of India took to X to share some pictures of the collaborative effort.

WTI in collaboration with Pakke Tiger Reserve Foundation @pakke_tiger distributed 69 quintals of rice among locals who have been affected by crop raiding by wild elephants under the ‘Grain for Grain’ program today.
