Mumbai: The Devendra Fadnavis led Maharashtra government has undertaken a significant reshuffle of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, with several key transfers announced across various departments aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency.
2007 batch IAS officer Rajendra Nimbalkar, who was serving as the Managing Director of MSSIDC, Mumbai, has now been appointed as the Managing Director of SARATHI in Pune.
2009 batch IAS officer Sanjay Yadav, the current Collector of Mumbai City, has been appointed as the State Project Director for the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan in Mumbai.
Dr. Rajendra Bharud (IAS, 2013 batch), who was serving as the Commissioner of TRTI, Pune, has been transferred as the Project Director of RUSA (Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan) under the Higher & Technical Education Department in Mumbai.
Deepak Kumar Meena (IAS, 2013 batch), currently serving as the Additional Tribal Commissioner in Thane, has been appointed as the Joint Commissioner for State Tax in Mumbai.
Sameer Kurtkoti (IAS, 2013 batch) has been posted as the Commissioner of TRTI, Pune, succeeding Dr. Bharud in the role.
2015 batch IAS officer Mahesh Awhad, the Managing Director of Haffkine Bio-Pharma Corporation, Mumbai, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Maharashtra Medical Goods Procurement Authority, Mumbai. This new role positions Awhad to oversee key procurement activities for medical goods in the state.
Keerthi Kiran Pujar (IAS, 2018 batch), who was serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Ratnagiri, has been transferred as the Collector of Dharashiv, where she will take on new responsibilities to strengthen local governance.
This reshuffle comes as part of Maharashtra’s broader strategy to improve governance and administrative efficiency across key sectors.
