Abhishek Ranjan, currently serving as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) Ltd, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities. According to a recent order from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) dated October 17, 2024, Ranjan has been assigned the additional charge of the posts of CVO at Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL), Hyderabad, and Hindustan Shipbuilders Ltd (HSL), Visakhapatnam.
This temporary appointment will be effective until November 30, 2024, or until further orders are issued, whichever comes first. Ranjan, a 2008-batch officer from the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS), will oversee vigilance matters at these two key defense sector organizations, in addition to his current duties at GRSE Ltd. His expanded role underlines the government’s confidence in his ability to manage vigilance functions at multiple strategic defense companies.
