The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has recently approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to grant the Apex pay scale (Level-17 in the pay matrix) to three senior IPS officers.
They are:-
- Mr. Safi Ahsan Rizvi (1989-batch Uttarakhand cadre officer) who is currently serving as an Advisor in NDMA;
- Mr. Rahul Rashgotra (1989-batch Maharashtra cadre officer) who currently serving as DG in ITBP;
- and Mr. Vivek Srivastava (1989-batch Gujarat cadre officer) who is currently serving as DG, FS, CD & HC.
