New Delhi: In a significant administrative move, MP Tangirala, a 1990 batch officer of the Indian Postal and Telegraph Accounts and Finance Services (IP&TA&FS), has been repatriated to his parent cadre. The decision was made by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet and officially communicated through an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday.
Tangirala, who has been serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Financial Services (DFS), will now return to his original cadre with immediate effect. The repatriation is part of routine administrative reshuffling aimed at streamlining government functions.
The repatriation order came as part of efforts to ensure efficient management and appropriate deployment of senior officers across various government departments. Details regarding Tangirala’s next assignment or his future role have not yet been revealed.
