Sonipat, Haryana: Amandeep, a determined young aspirant from Sonipat, has finally achieved his lifelong dream of becoming an IAS officer after securing the 731st rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. Amandeep’s late grandfather, Sultan Singh, had also wished for his grandson to become a high-ranking officer. Amandeep said that his grandfather’s dream motivated him throughout his rigorous preparation.

Amandeep’s path to success was not easy. He prepared for the UPSC exam while working full-time as a Workshop Officer with the Border Roads Organization in Arunachal Pradesh. He managed 13–14 hours of daily study, learning from multiple failures over his previous three attempts.
He emphasized the importance of patience, discipline, and hard work, stating: “Failure is not something to fear; it shows the path forward and strengthens us. If one prepares honestly and consistently, success is inevitable.”

Despite a demanding work schedule, Amandeep dedicated himself to studying. His uncle noted that whenever he visited home, Amandeep spent barely half an hour with family before retreating to his room to focus on preparation. This dedication ultimately led to his success in his fourth attempt.
