The Haryana government has appointed Arun Kumar Gupta, a 1992 batch IAS officer, as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. The position had been vacant until now. Alongside this, Saket Kumar, a 2005-batch IAS officer, has been designated as Additional Principal Secretary to the CM, succeeding Amit Kumar Agrawal, a 2003-batch officer.
The reshuffle, detailed in transfer and posting orders issued on Wednesday evening, places Agrawal as Commissioner of the Haryana Development and Panchayats Department. He will also serve as Managing Director of Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited.
Additionally, Ashima Brar, who previously served as an Additional Principal Secretary to the CM, has been reassigned as Director General of the Social Justice Department. Meanwhile, Yash Pal, a 2011 batch IAS officer, has been named Deputy Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.
