RailTel Bags ₹12.85 Crore MGIMS Order for Hospital IT, Campus Management, and Website Deployment

New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has won a significant domestic order worth ₹12.85 crore from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), reinforcing the company’s footprint in digital infrastructure for healthcare and education. The contract, awarded through a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) on April 1, 2026, was disclosed under SEBI Listing Regulations.

Comprehensive Digital Systems Deployment at MGIMS

Under this project, RailTel will undertake the customization, integration, deployment, implementation, and maintenance of several critical digital systems at MGIMS Sevagram, aimed at modernizing hospital and campus management. Key areas include:

  • Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) for patient care and administration
  • Hospital Fire Safety Management System to enhance safety protocols
  • Student and Academic Activity Systems to streamline educational management
  • Accounts and Campus Management Systems for operational efficiency
  • Development and maintenance of the MGIMS website for digital presence and information access

The initiative is designed to strengthen digital healthcare infrastructure, improve patient services, and optimize administrative and academic workflows across the campus.

Order Value and Project Timeline

The total value of the contract is ₹12.85 crore (excluding taxes), making it a substantial addition to RailTel’s portfolio of domestic projects. The company will execute the project over an extended timeline, with completion scheduled by March 31, 2032.

RailTel confirmed that this is a domestic contract with no promoter or related-party involvement, emphasizing transparency and compliance with SEBI regulations. The work order was officially received at 10:30 AM on April 1, 2026.

This project reflects RailTel’s strategic expansion into healthcare and educational digital solutions, an area seeing growing demand for technology-driven efficiency. With the implementation of modern IT systems, MGIMS is expected to benefit from improved patient care, safety management, student administration, and campus operations.
