New Delhi: In line with its ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency, Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) has awarded a manpower supply contract to ITCONS E-Solutions Limited for the deployment of 30 unskilled and semi-skilled personnel at its Bangalore facility.
The contract, valued at ₹1.05 crore (inclusive of all applicable taxes), will be executed over a one-year period, beginning August 1, 2025.
Supporting Core Operations in Defence Manufacturing
As a critical unit under the Ministry of Defence, BEML’s Bangalore division plays a key role in manufacturing and supporting defence equipment for the Indian Armed Forces. The engagement of outsourced manpower is aimed at bolstering non-core operational functions, enabling BEML’s technical teams to focus more intensively on production and strategic output.
“This collaboration ensures workforce flexibility and helps maintain seamless operations in high-priority units,” a company source noted.

Strategic Partnership with ITCONS
ITCONS E-Solutions, known for its expertise in government and PSU staffing, was selected through a competitive bidding process. The partnership marks another instance of BEML engaging private sector talent providers to support its long-term manufacturing and infrastructure goals.
Under the agreement, ITCONS will manage the end-to-end deployment of resources in accordance with BEML’s compliance and security standards.
Continued Focus on Efficiency and Scale
BEML’s decision to augment its workforce through contractual staffing aligns with broader goals of cost efficiency, workforce agility, and process continuity across its defence and infrastructure verticals.
This move comes at a time when BEML is actively ramping up projects related to armoured vehicles, rail coaches, and mining equipment—areas that demand a streamlined backend and operational support framework.
Market Response
Despite the positive development, shares of ITCONS E-Solutions Ltd saw a slight dip on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The stock was trading 0.48% lower at ₹504.00 as of market close today.
This could be attributed to broader market sentiment or investor focus on larger-scale projects, though the order reinforces long-term business stability for the firm.
