New Delhi: In a significant move to strengthen India’s indigenous heavy equipment capabilities, BEML Limited has unveiled next-generation upgrades of its flagship construction and mining machines — the BE220G Hydraulic Excavator and BL9H Backhoe Loader. These new models reflect BEML’s growing commitment to delivering future-ready, self-reliant solutions under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat mission.

Virtual Launch at BEML’s KGF Complex
The launch was conducted virtually at BEML’s Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) Complex, led by Mr. Shantanu Roy, Chairman and Managing Director, along with Mr. Sanjay Som, Director (Mining & Construction Business), and other senior officials of the company.
During the unveiling, CMD Shantanu Roy emphasized the strategic intent behind the upgrades:
