Bhopal: Returning from a seven-day official tour of Dubai and Spain, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that his visit resulted in 22 MoUs signed with international companies, securing investment proposals exceeding ₹11,000 crore for the state. The trip, which combined economic diplomacy with cultural exchange, also paved the way for direct international flights, film collaborations, and agri-training programs for farmers.
Major Investment Announcements
CM Yadav revealed that key companies from Dubai and Spain have committed large-scale investments:
- BMW Developers – ₹2,750 crore
- Conares Metal – ₹640 crore
- Span Communications and Alpha Mia – ₹500 crore each
- Saraf Group and Reliance Defence – ₹250 crore each
- Submer Technologies (Spain) – ₹3,800 crore for a data centre in Madhya Pradesh
These deals span across sectors including infrastructure, defence, metals, data centers, and communications.
Cultural Ties & Diplomatic Engagements
During the Dubai leg of the tour, CM Yadav met with Arab Parliament President Mohammad Al Yamahi to discuss education, culture, and youth engagement. He also praised the BAPS Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, describing it as a “global symbol of interfaith harmony.”
In Spain, the Chief Minister noted the country’s deep interest in Indian culture and heritage. He drew parallels between Spain’s Flamenco dance and India’s Kalbeliya dance, suggesting cultural roots that transcend borders.
Tourism & Aviation Boost
In a major announcement, CM Yadav confirmed discussions with Emirates Airlines to launch a direct Bhopal–Dubai flight. Air India and IndiGo also expressed interest in starting new routes to the state. He noted that under Madhya Pradesh’s attractive aviation policy, international carriers operating from the state will receive ₹15 lakh per international flight as a government incentive.
International Film Production & MP as Shooting Hub
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with Spanish film producers, opening doors for film shoots in Madhya Pradesh. This move is seen as a strategic push to position the state as a global filming destination.
Support for Farmers on Global Platforms
CM Yadav also outlined a new initiative to send cotton farmers for international training, enabling them to match global standards in production and cater to multinational company demands. The initiative aims to boost both quality and income for local farmers.

Dr. Yadav emphasized that this trip was part of a broader push for international economic and cultural integration. He stated:
“Our government has conducted visits to five countries and secured investment proposals of ₹4.5 lakh crore through RIC and ₹30.77 lakh crore via the Global Investors Summit. Now, we are strategically pursuing long-term international partnerships that go beyond economics to embrace culture and heritage.”
