Patna: Bihar’s industry sector witnessed a significant milestone as the Bihar @ 2047 Vision Conclave (Season 3) was successfully held at The Oxford College of Science, Arts, Commerce and Management, Bengaluru on Sunday. The event saw participation from over 1,200 delegates from across India and abroad, including entrepreneurs, industry leaders, IT professionals, thinkers, and start-up representatives from countries such as the USA, UK, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, and more.
Building an Investor-Friendly Ecosystem in Bihar
Addressing the conclave, Bihar Industry Minister Dr. Dilip Jaiswal highlighted that the Industry Department is actively working to create a strong, investor-friendly ecosystem through policy reforms, institutional support, and administrative responsiveness. He emphasized the state government’s commitment to making Bihar a preferred destination for investors, entrepreneurs, and start-ups.
Dr. Jaiswal also underlined that the government is taking steps not just to ensure ease of doing business, but also security of doing business. In line with this, the process of establishing the Bihar Industrial Security Force (BISF) is underway, modeled on the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), to provide institutional protection, enhance security for entrepreneurs and industries, and strengthen trust and stability in Bihar’s industrial environment.
Entrepreneurship, Start-ups, and Inclusive Growth
The conclave celebrated entrepreneurship and innovation as key drivers for Bihar’s development. Vikas Vaibhav, IPS, the chief patron of Let’s Inspire Bihar, emphasized the need to rise above caste, community, and religion and restore Bihar’s historical and cultural heritage. He highlighted the role of entrepreneurship, start-ups, and collective civic participation in building a developed Bihar.
Upcoming initiatives, including the Bihar Development Summit 2026 planned in Hyderabad and New Delhi, were also discussed, with participants encouraged to actively engage in these programs.
Voices from Bihar: Local Leaders Stress Industrial and Skill Development
Mithilesh Tiwari, MLA from Baikunthpur, stressed the need for a strong industrial and skill development ecosystem in Bihar, describing the conclave as an effective platform connecting entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors.
Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Sonu Singh), MLA from Dehri, highlighted the link between entrepreneurship, start-ups, and preventing migration, noting that local opportunities are key to Bihar’s inclusive economic growth.
Bengaluru Conclave: A Celebration of Entrepreneurship
The Bengaluru conclave symbolized the vision that Bihar’s development is integral to India’s progress. It aimed to channel intellectual capital, professional expertise, investment potential, and entrepreneurial energy from South India toward Bihar, promoting inclusive growth, innovation, and job creation.
Stakeholder dialogues during the event focused on accelerating the entrepreneurship ecosystem, strengthening collaboration between industry and educational institutions, and contributing to the long-term vision of a developed Bihar within a developed India by 2047.
