Patna: The Bihar government has transferred 34 IAS officers across various departments, with two officers given additional responsibilities and five officers, who were awaiting posting, assigned new roles within 48 hours.
The notifications were issued by the General Administration Department, reflecting a significant restructuring of the state bureaucracy.
Suharsh Bhagat Moved to Revenue, Punitive Posting for RCP Singh’s Son-in-Law
2015 bath IAS officer Suharsh Bhagat, the son-in-law of former Union Minister RCP Singh and known for his proximity to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has been given a punitive posting. He has been removed from the State Health Committee and transferred to the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, where he will now oversee land survey work.
Another key move saw Shirsat Kapil, 2011-batch IAS officer and MD of the Bihar State Road Development Corporation, relieved from his role as Special Secretary of Road Construction.
