Following a circular issued by the General Administration Department in the Government of Bihar, as many as six IAS officers were reshuffled. Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh (2010 batch) was mandated to assume office as the District Magistrate of Patna, replacing Mr. Shirsat Kapil Ashok (2011 batch), who was made Managing Director (MD) in the Bihar State Road Construction Corporation. He will also be in the additional charge of Special Secretary in the department. Mr. Aditya Prakash (2014 batch), the MD of North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (NBPDCL), was transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Health Department.
Mr. Laxman Tiwari (2021) was posted as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department. At the same time, IAS Nilesh Ramchandra Devare was appointed as the new MD of North Bihar Power Distribution Company. Mr. Himanshu Sharma (2011 batch) was mandated to assume office as the Chief Executive Officer of Jeevika.
