Three bureaucrats comprising two officers from the Indian Revenue Service and one from Indian Defence Accounts Service have been repatriated to the Centre from Ladakh. They were on deputation to the Union Territory since March 2021 and have completed their tenure.
Amit Singh Chandel, a 2014 batch IRS officer who was posted as Director of Social and Tribal Welfare, has been relieved on 1st April. While 2013 batch IRS officer Iftakhar Ahmed Chaudhary, who was posted as Additional Secretary, Health and Medical Education and MD, NHM in Ladakh, has been relieved on 4th of April.
D C Rajathkumar, a 2014 batch IDAS officer who was posted as Additional Secretary, Finance Department and Director A & T Ladakh. He was also relieved on 4th of April, 2023.
Order dated 1st of April by the administration of Union Territory of Ladakh said, “Consequent upon the completion of the tenure of the following Central Civil Service Officers, presently on deputation to Union Territory of Ladakh and with the approval of the competent authority of the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh, the officers shall stand relieved w.e.f. the dates (A.N.) indicated against each, with the direction to report to the concerned Ministries in the Govt. of India.”
