Mr. Manoj Shrivastava has been honored by the Swami Vivekanand Award which was given by the Central Hindi Institute. Mr. Manoj Shrivastava is a 1987 batch retired IAS officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He got retired in April 2021 from the post of Additional Chief Secretary of Panchayat.
On receiving the honor he said, “as long as I was in the government service, I kept on refusing awards. Many times many institutions and organizations which approached me for giving awards but I politely declined”, he further added, “there were exceptions to this only twice, and both had specific reasons. Now I am free after retirement”.
