On Monday, The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has been appointed the former IPS officer Ms. Bharati Ghosh as the National spokesperson. She joined the BJP party in 2019 to contest in West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections. She remained in service from 1994 to 2017 and served the country as a prestigious police officer. She joined the BJP party after her retirement.
The BJP took the decision to retain its leaders from losing to TMC in West Bengal. The TMC is trying to make the BJP party leaderless in West Bengal by poaching its strong leaders.
